I have always been inspired by the beauty of nature, and ever since I can remember I've been trying to recreate how nature makes me feel through art. The way a Ponderosa pine smells, how it gets colder right before the sun meets the morning horizon, and the elation of hearing a howl in the distance. Many mediums help me achieve my desired outcome, but waterolor is my current favorite. Ever since I can remember, I've had a pencil or crayon in my hand and in 2011 I picked up a set of oil paints and never looked back.

My innate desire to help others and protect these places I hold dear led to me becoming a park ranger and then forestry technician over the last five years. Unfortunately, I am not able to pursue this avenue right now with the current attack on our federal civil servants and institutions plus my lack of a Bachelor's degree.
